Geller's Setup

Geller's setup is a patient regrouping for closed flank openings: queen and rooks stay behind their own lines — often on the last two ranks — while the break in the centre is prepared move by move. Efim Geller scored repeatedly with this arrangement, and later players adopted it wholesale. The games follow the build-up and the moment the position is opened.
