Capablanca's Rules

Capablanca formulated a handful of rules for converting an advantage — chiefly in simple positions — that have survived a century of practice. This chapter gathers them in his own games: centralisation first, activity over material, and the patient creation of a second weakness. The rules read simply; applying them is the hard part.
